Qld: Hospital discharges last Bali victim

Royal Brisbane Hospital has discharged its last Bali bomb blast victim in time for Christmas.

58-year-old GARY NASH, who suffered third-degree burns to 48 per cent of his body andthree shrapnel wounds in the October 12 attack, has flown home to Perth.

A hospital spokeswoman says Mr NASH spent three weeks in the hospital's intensive careunit and weeks more having treatment before being discharged last week.

He was the last of seven Bali burns victims treated at the hospital to be discharged.

An eighth patient, 17-year-old TOM SINGER of New South Wales, died after a four-weekfight for life.
