Vic: Napthine sacks leadership apsirant, Robert Doyle=2
The sacking follows increasing speculation over Dr NAPTHINE'S leadership.
It's been reported that Mr DOYLE met Dr NAPTHINE earlier this morning and was planningto ask him to stand aside as leader.
However, Dr NAPTHINE instead requested Mr DOYLE stand aside.
A replacement for Mr DOYLE has not yet been announced.
Dr NAPTHINE says constant speculation over his leadership has been distracting the opposition.
He says he is the leader and will take the party into the next election.
